Carmocal establishes, implements, maintains and continually improves a Quality and Environmental Management System, in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 Standards.

In addition, it affirms its commitment to the preservation of the environment by complying with and respecting the 3R rule. In Carmocal, resources and materials are recycled and reused in order to reduce the damage.

Effluent Treatment Station (ETE)

Carmocal has first generation Effluent Treatment Stations, where the water used in the washes is treated and reused. They are capable of processing from 50,000 to 100,000 liters per day.

They work using physical chemical processes capable of separating into two phases, through flocculation and coagulation, which allows - through a filtration system - to extract the sludge and water that will be reused again in the production process.
